Jimmy Bagwell grew up in Carbon Hill, Alabama. He attended Heritage Christian University in Florence, Alabama and has BA degree in Biblical Studies from Magnolia Bible College. He earned a MA degree in Religious Studies and is working on a Master’s degree of Divinity from Nations University. Jimmy was a counselor for several Christian Youth Camps. He worked for several church of Christ congregations in Alabama and Mississippi as a youth, associate, or pulpit minister and was the pulpit minister at the Flushing Pointe congregation in Flushing, Michigan from 2005 through 2015. He and Mary (McClure) married in 2005 and have two children Aiden and Lily. They have worked with the Bad Axe congregation since the start of 2016. His interests included archeology and music. He and Mary have been very involved in developing the KC3 children’s program.
